| London, United-Kingdom | 8-9 March 2017 |
On 8 March, bureauexport in London is organising 4 made in France showcases at Bodo’s Schloss, as part of the ILMC (International Live Music Conference) in London, in the presence of many international professionals from the live music industry. These showcases will feature Parisian psych-tronica explorers DBFC, the new wave R&B sounds of Sônge, euphoric pop from Juveniles and the gut-wrenching indie rock of Bantam Lyons.
These same artists will be performing the following evening for the first new Oui Love club night on 9th March at Birthdays in London. Oui Love is partnering with the promoters Rockfeedback and the website The Line of Best Fit for this new series of events.
Launched in 2009, the Oui Love project was created to introduce the British public and media to the dynamic made in France pop/rock/electro scene, relying on motivated local promoters specialised in discovering new talent as well as local universities. 8 years later, Oui Love now includes a website, a strong social media presence, regular London-based events and bureauexport’s presence at festivals.
“Since the creation of the site, The Line of Best Fit‘s focus on new music discovery has been far-reaching. Recognising an ever-growing French scene, we are delighted to partner with Oui Love for a series of UK shows showcasing the best talent in French music. Through the partnership, we are also looking forward to furthering our presence in the country, part of the team being now based in France.”
