The Jazzdor Strasbourg-Berlin festival is celebrating its 10th birthday!

| Berlin, Germany | 31 May – 3 June 2016 |

This year, the Jazzdor Strasbourg-Berlin festival is celebrating its 10th birthday at the Kesselhaus in Berlin!

Roughly 10 made in France artists are on the program for the German jazz festival: Bernard Struber, the duo Joachim Kühn and Émile Parisien, Dejan Terzic, the Franco-German quartet composed of Théo and Valentin Ceccaldi on one side with Ronny Graupe and Christian Lillinger on the other, Electric Vocuhila, the trio Poco Loco, and the Bal des Faux Frères accompanied by guitarist Marc Ducret.

Launched in 2006 with the support of bureauexport in Berlin, SACEM, and assistance from the city of Strasbourg, the Alsace Region, and the French Ministry of Culture and Communication, the festival has quickly developed into an essential platform for French jazz in Germany and throughout Europe. Hundreds of professionals flock to the festival each year, seeking to hear projects previously unknown outside of France. These Franco-German artistic encounters are at the heart of the Jazzdor Strasbourg-Berlin festival.
